As you will agree, fire detection is important to prevent injury, serious damage and potential loss of business and/or property whilst alerting building occupiers.

Linear Heat Detection Cable (LHDC) is becoming a more common method of fire detection and detects heat generated by fire. Depending on cable type, this detection can be area specific along the full length of a cable which could be 1000 metres in length.

LHDC is suitable for both Conventional and Addressable Fire Alarm System applications and can be installed in environments where normal AFD devices are not viable, example – engine rooms, areas of increased airflow and/or vehicle exhaust like tunnels and car parks; areas prone to dampness and high humidity.

LHDC is easily installed, cost effective, can be installed in intrinsically safe areas and harsh environments.
